Unidentified Fighting Lizards
Check These Lizards Out
I just snapped these pics in my backyard.
Maybe new Photography Forum more suitable?
These things are like at least 2 Feet long!
Anyone know what kind of lizard they are?
Are these some type of chameleon?
Pretty wild.
I hope to see more of them.

It's not a Green Iguana.
This one was 54 inches long, last time we pumped up the courage to measure him.

I dub them pr0n lizards, as they insist on making out in front of the camera.

I believe they are Knight Anoles.
Knight anoles are not indigenous to Florida. They are massive lizards when compared to Green or Brown Anoles. Body length (SVL) can be over 7 inches and tail length 11 inches for a total length of 18 inches.
The diet of the Knight Anole includes the smaller anoles.
I will keep my eye out for another appearance.
Maybe I should try and capture one.

Nice tail on that green one.

No!
Just wait for one to eat the other, then a bird to eat the survivor. Problem solved.

No problem... I want to see more of them.... good entertainment to throw into the mix with the long black snake and other critters about. Maybe there will be some type of reptile battle royale back there... as long as I am there to see it I don't care what happens
