    Channel Surfing 3...

Once again folks the mighty CAP beater returns...

I am at the reins for this one folks and i'll make sure to do my best with the interface and the mix, the rest is up to u guys!

    Guidelines are:
    400 X 300
    24 frames a second
    Maximum length 15 seconds
    Flash Mx

to help me out in putting this thing together please put your whole movie into a movie clip that way i can just drop and drag it in
also make sure if u use any scripting that it is self contained (i.e no using of _root only _parent)

remember the most popular clips are always the funny or well animated ones and try to keep the quality high!

    unsure of what to do?
check the originals: Channel Surfing 1 Channel Surfing 2

there are plenty of excellent writers and animators here, i'm sure u can all come up with something great!
hopefully this ones gonna be big!

[edit]oh and time frame at the moment is uh... dunno a couple of months not to strict on it, will wait until i get a substantial ammount of submissions...

oh and submissions to xup878 [at] hotmail.com... if i can fit em... only send the .fla, preferably zipped...

oh and pooons on quality control, so i'll make sure he approves of it before the final is released
    [/edit]

24 frames! why? I never did channel suring before, but I think it might be better at 15 frames. I am used to flash defualt frame rate for all my flash cartoons which is 12 frames, it is going to be too fast for my animations. You might have a better reason for the 24, but I like know what that reason might be.

    yur' damn right.

I didn't have a working computer through the whole duration of CS2 so I didn't get to take part

I'm still waiting on MT sending it to me.

As mentioned, its much more fluent and professional. 24 has pretty much become the standard, even minimum with most of the better animators. If you don't want to work in 24, work in the frame rate you are used to, and use step 1 in my guide http://www.verbalstreet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18 to adjust the frames.
